As I mentioned, thousands of parents do not take the test annually without any penalties. My daughter's school has been supportive of our decision. Many of the students work quietly in the library on alternative lessons during testing time without bias or ridicule.

However, there is no guarantee here. Some administrators and teachers are so concerned with high test scores that they will go to extreme lengths, including bribery and intimidation. Other teachers and administrators truly have children's interests at heart.

We are in the process of recruiting attorneys to help advise parents and negotiate circumstances in which the rights of the child or the rights of the parents are being violated due to non-compliance of CSAP.
