It is bad practice to make any placement or enrollment decisions based on a single indicator. Educators and administrators know this. In all cases parents should keep a collection of their child's work that reflects their best qualities throughout a broad range of modalities and subjects. Don't allow the system to push you around. Advocate for your child in all instances. Ask for procedures in writing. Document your interactions. Confront injustices.
